Rules For Healthy Relationships

Your relationship is so important that you have to treat it with the supportive care that it needs to survive over the long-term.

Here are some important rules every relationship needs to grow.
  • HONESTY
Have you BEING accused of hiding something from your partner? This is not a great way to establish trust, which is essential to a good relationship.
Do your very best to follow these rules to be able to have a honest and reliable relationship.

Are you being skeptical in telling your partner about something? Ask yourself if he/she eventually founds out in another means, what would be the outcome?.
When withholding information from your partner, it is likely not too good and will make you look like a liar to your partner for not being honest in the relationship.
Flat out lying is definitely not a good one, it is always frowned upon.
Trust once broken, can never be the same again.
  • Always KEEP the past aside
Let your past, your partner’s past, and any exes stay aside.
The same goes for the mental file of your partner’s past good/bad behaviour. Let it go. Otherwise, the weight of that baggage will definitely drag your relationship down.
  • Freedom
Honestly, no one wants to be caged up. Everyone needs a little space. The more freedom your partner have, the greater for you both in having a healthier and loving relationship.
Being studied some causes of breakups today, it was found out that partners who left wished that they had more freedom outside of their relationships.
Bear it in mind that we are not talking about the freedom to go stray. If you have in any way restricted your partner’s coming and goings activities and being with friends. They are not likely to like being with you.
For these rules, allow as much freedom as possible for your partner and see how flourishing your relationship would be. Because, you cannot expect someone whom you caged up to have that inner peace, joy and happiness.
  • Always GIVE MORE THAN YOU RECEIVE
Try being more supportive to your partner or your partner may find the support elsewhere else.
Always be the best friend and companion to your partner as well as a romantic mate. Be that person that triggers joy in him/her. Try not to let these minor things ruin your relationship. Be supportive in any little way you can.
  • KNOW YOUR PARTNER WELL
Keep in touch with what your partner likes and needs.
This is where most of us falls out. It is a thing of joy to know your partner's love language and give them love in the way in which they like to receive it.
Try this out and see the magic!
  • BuILD INTIMACY OUTSIDE OF SEX
Yes! Sexual passion is not always an enduring factor in long-term relationships. So with these rules, your relationship will be of many intimate moments, shared jokes, joy, laughter, and connectedness that will keep you bonded for life.
  • MASTER THE ART OF COMMUNICATION
Communication in a relationship means listening more than speaking.
Good communication is the key to a successful relationship. Communication is among the reasons why some couples divorce today.
There are differences between chatting and communication. You can chat your partner all day but communication matters a lot. Lack of communication kills a relationship so quick than anything you can think of.
Close that gap between you both by always giving your partner a call. Create that bond today and see how amazing your relationship will be.
  • GIVE A LISTENINING EAR TO YOUR PARTNER
This is very important. Always pay attention to your partner when they expressed an interest in something rather than ignoring them.
If your partner is interested in something, they are basically asking you to turn toward them and show concern. If you are the type that always decide to turn away, giving excuses, you denied your partner the request for your attention.
Repeated turning away makes your partner feel unloved and uncared for.
  • BE APPRECIATIVE
Being appreciative in your relationship triggers more happiness.
It is a good thing to be appreciative in a relationship. It might not be exactly as you wanted it, but always show appreciation no matter how small it might be it makes your partner feel good inside and warrants them doing a better and bigger one.
  • TOLERATE YOUR PARTNER
Tolerance is an essential ingredient in a relationship
We all have flaws and misconceptions. Don't let any of these ruin your relationship. If you truly love your partner, you will surely tolerate their weaknesses and help them in achieving a better being.

Tolerance goes a long way in making relationships more accommodating, free and it lessens quarrels. When you tolerates your partner, some certain things in a relationship becomes so easy to handle.

Goodluck!
